Pet Photos
Tomorrow...er, um, later today, Jasper and I are going to Petco. This will not be an ordinary visit. They renovated the location (moved everything I need to not where it was, saddness) so they are offering free pet photography for the first X amount of customers. I can only hope thay are ready for a newt. They most definitly are not expecting him.

I love Jasper Very Dearly, but he Always Seems to be Getting Into Trouble, Doesn't He?
Exactly what I say!!!
So, in Jasper's new tank set up, there was like a catacombbof space under a bunch or rocks...you'd really have to see it to understand. Anywho, this afternoon Jasper decided it'd be a great idea to venture in to the catacombs (to meet the Phantom of the Opera, of course) and well, he couldn't quite manuver his way out. I left him there for about an hour, figuring that he would probable find a way out. But newts don't have that big of a brain, now, do they? (no). Mind you, aside from this I basicaly had the perfect set up. Ruined. False. Fail. Non-exzistant. Get the point? Oh, Jasper. I got him out and he's fine and all, but tomorrow I'll have to fix the tank...again.

Jasper Bites Off a Bit More Than He Can Chew!!!
Hey there JHN fans!
Today, I fed Jasper with freezed-dried bloodworms, instead of his usual live frozen ones. Now, I've had the container if them for a while and some of them have clumped together. One of these clumps comes out of the container and lands in the tank. So, Jasper, being cute as he is, decides "I WANT THAT ONE" and eats the biggest one there. Now, newts don't quite have teeth, per se, so he kinda gulps it down. If you subtract the feeling of me thinking "holy crap, he's gonna choke and die" (that would be an awkward post to write so early in the blogging), it was quite ammusing to look at.

Newt Dancing
Newts dance. How do I know this, you ask? Well, I was doing my homework today, and I decided to bring Jasper down to the tank on my desk (hone tank is on the night stand) and I was playong the Narnia soundtrack (it is only instrumental, so I can concentrate to it) through my speakers. When the music swelled, Jasper started to swim around in his tank. Likewise, when thebmusic was just mellow, he would just chillax.

Brown or Orange???
Hey there!
So Jasper has had a bit of a personalty conflict this week: he turned almost completly brown and is now back to his usual orange hue.
It was cool because he had like these freckleish splotches all over!!!
On a seperate note, does anyone know of a way to get pictures from a cell phone to the iTouch without a computer?

The Loss of a Friend
Hi guys-
Before any of us flip out, this post isin't about Jasper. You see, there is a place where I do shows, take acting lessons, and such. There, there was a dog named Sprout. She was awesome. If you were to sit cross-legged, she would sit in your lap-- yeah, it was a little uncomfortable, but ut was Sprout, so it was okay. Sprout was old--17--she'd been around longer than me in human years. Sprout passed away yesterday, and I hate to sound cliche, but, and will live in our hearts forever.

Welcome!!!
Hey! This blog is to be for my new, Jasper Horatio Newtmander. He (I think) is a Blue-Tailed Firebelly Newt (say that three times fast). On occasion, it may also be for me to tell you about my odd life. Okay, so Jasper is from Caudata.org's Jennewt. He was reportably born in Febuary of '09. He often stands on two feet. (pix nest time I see him do it) I feed him every wenesday and he eats bloodworms. Did I mention that he is orange?
